Harold and I were neighbors and classmates from the 1st grade through graduation from AHS. He was a very wonderful person/friend. His family had a lot of animals, especially horses, and we would somehow get into trouble. They had a large hay stack and the neighborhood kids would like to play "king of the mountain". Of course, that meant climbing on the hay stack and knocking down a lot of hay. Harold would have to restack it. He left us way too early! But, he left me with some very lasting memories.
I didn't really know Harold, so I really appreciate your sharing your memories, Tom. I love the image of you guys standing on top of the haystack, knocking each other -- and the hay -- off.

Thanks for helping me see the real person.
