Louie's locker was next to mine, and he used to give me grief when we were jostling for space before or between classes. I was sad to hear he had died. I thought he was a handsome guy.

What a great individual. Not only our class president, but was one of many athletes that helped us have great years in the two sports he played in.  Football and Track.  Lou and I became friends at a very early age and always remember that in grade school, I was a little nervous going to his house as Mr. Gasca could be a very imposing man.

Lou was just a level headed young man that was fun to be around, that cared about his education and his friends.  Those of you that remember his smile, it was sincere and caring.

Ran into Lou again in Oregon in 1968 at which time he was Dean of Students TVCC, a community college with an enrollment pretty close to Adam States.   Lou also recommended that I think about settling in Ontario and take advantage of many of the opportunites that were available in treasure valley.    I did, I interviewed with the court system as a court counselor with lou as a reference.  He also recommended my wife and I as Married dorm Proctors as we also needed a place to live.  I have been fortunate to have known and been a friend of Louis Gasca.  He would have done the same to any of his classmates had he the opportunity.

Lou was just an all around "Good Guy" and I believe that if you googled Good Guy, it would refer you to Louis Gasca. I believe Lou died of a stroke while out gathering fire wood.  Lou will always be in my thoughts.
