Adela Lilia (Maestas) Martinez died on April 5, 2014 in Denver, surrounded by family and loved ones. She married Elfido Jose Martinez in 1960, and together they raised five children. She retired in 2002, and enjoyed spending time with her family, having get-togethers at their cabin, crocheting, and taking care of her thirteen grandchildren.
